Visitor data and cookies on the website
No visitor data is collected on the website for analytics purposes. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tracking tools, and no cookies are placed to measure or track visitor behaviour.
The website only places functional cookies that are necessary to make the website work properly. No consent is required for these cookies.
What data we process when you order
When you order the book or e-book, we process the following data:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Street and house number
- Postal code
- City
Your payment is processed via Mollie, our payment provider. Mollie processes your bank account number and other payment details. This data does not reach us and is not stored by us.
Why we process this data
Name and address details
We use your first name, last name, street and house number, postal code and city to process your purchase administratively and to send you your order.
Email address
We use your email address to deliver the book or e-book to you.
Payment details
The processing of your payment details, including your bank account number, is carried out exclusively by Mollie. Mollie acts as an independent controller in this respect, not as a processor on our behalf. For more information, please refer to Mollie’s privacy statement.
Legal basis for processing
For the delivery of the book or e-book and the handling of your order, the processing of your first name, last name, address details and email address is necessary for the performance of the agreement you enter into with Grroei upon purchase.
Retention period
- Your name, address details and email address in our administration are retained for as long as the statutory retention obligation requires, namely 7 years in connection with the tax retention obligation.
Sharing with third parties
We do not share your data with third parties, except for Mollie for the handling of your payment, or where a legal obligation requires this. Because Mollie is an independent controller, a processing agreement with Mollie does not apply here.
Security
Appropriate technical and organisational measures have been taken to protect your data against loss or unlawful use.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the data processed about you
- Have incorrect data corrected
- Request deletion of your data, insofar as the statutory retention obligation allows this
- Request restriction of the processing of your data
- Receive your data in a portable format (data portability)
